Cent. 16th

Built in the 16th century, Palazzo Scippa reveals the pride of an illustrious family in its ashlar entrance and coat of arms. Some windows date back to the 18th century. Inside, a covered 18th century staircase leads up to the apartments, adorned with frescoes depicting Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Dominic and St. Catherine with the following inscription: “with the devotion of the priest Paolo Marino Scippa in 1676 and restored by Paolo Scippa in 1892”. In the reception rooms, the tondos depicting seaside and country scenes represent the grace and elegance of 18th century Neapolitan painting.
